The Magic of Community Theater
Have you ever experienced the magic of seeing a live play or musical? Just being in the audience is an amazing experience!
Imagine being a part of the production! To see these creative, brave and talented kids and adults come every week to express themselves, be themselves and push themselves.... it is an incredible sight to behold! Some start off shy and quiet and a few weeks later they are dancing and singing solos. Or designing sets and running concession stands.
The theater is a place where all can come and be heard. Their ideas are created and their visions are brought to life. They become like family to each other. The older ones take care of the younger ones and teach them along the way. The little ones steal the show every time and show the older ones the beauty of not over thinking things.
Magic is created here everyday. Not just during the performances but at the auditions and the rehearsals, before and after each rehearsal when we get to hear the excitement of their role in each production.
If you haven't been to a play, please come visit one day. If you haven't participated in a production, we welcome you to be a part of our family!
"I regard the theater as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being."- Oscar Wilde.
