Our Only World Release Party
To inspire the next generation’s passion to save the oceans, professional composer David Smart has written a beautiful song. The song is being sung and recorded by children around the world and our own YAK children have joined the cause!

About the event
Join us to in welcoming UK based, professional composer David Smart to Saluda and for the release of the Our Only World music video that was recorded by YAK! There will be hors d'ouevres and refreshments as well as a mini-show. The children will start the show at 4:00.
Our small theater and the children of the YAK program were chosen as the only US participant in this project. David Smart’s original video is being played on the BBC and ours will now be attached to his as the beginning of a worldwide chain. He will be attending the International Conference on Saving the Oceans in December where he will present this project. He has been awarded 50,000 pounds by the UK government to promote it due to his new partnership with the US (meaning us).
We adapted the score to reflect our mountain environment and the trash thrown into the rivers and streams which flow to the greater oceans.
